This policy explains what information Vidhan Sabha India (“we”, “us”) collects when you use vidhansabhaindia.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use these only to reply to you and keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting server records standard log information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. We use this to keep the site secure and working properly.

Cookies and local storage

We store a few small preferences in your browser: whether you chose light or dark mode, and the language you picked for translation. These stay on your device and are not used to identify you.

Third-party services

  • Google Translate: if you choose a language from the menu, the page is translated by Google Translate, which sets its own cookie (googtrans) to remember your choice. Google’s privacy policy applies to that service.
  • Advertising: we may show advertisements served by Google AdSense and other partners. How long we keep information

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request, and normally no longer than 24 months. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information you have sent us. Write to contact@vidhansabhaindia.com. We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as its rules come into force.

Children

This site is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
